I’m a born and bred Texan with a unique skill set and innate love for culture, adventure and global exploration. My favorite thing to bring home from an adventure is a piece of art reflecting the culture and experience of where I’ve been! When I’m not exploring the world myself, I’m home in Dallas with my husband, baby boy and dog. You can probably find me trying out one of the new restaurants in town!

 

Why Taylored Travel?

Travel is a part of my DNA, passed down by parents and grandparents who wanted their children’s experiences to extend beyond their own backyards. In addition, my previous experience in the world of public accounting followed by commercial real estate honed my attention to detail, ability to provide an efficient work product and communicate effectively. It is my greatest joy to share the corners of this world with my clients, utilizing my own experiences to create culture-rich, meaningful and highly personalized travel for them. I can’t wait to put together the trip of a lifetime with you!

You’re a travel consultant...what does that mean?

I design curated and tailored luxury travel experiences to places all over the globe for clients of all kinds. This includes everything from flights and hotels to tours, activities and transportation. My expertise and advising is exclusively in luxury travel, crafting bespoke, highly personalized, and one-of-a-kind travel experiences.

Are you part of an agency?

Yes! I am an affiliate of SmartFlyer, which is based in New York and one of the leading agencies of independent advisors. I am a member of the Virtuoso luxury travel consortium (a highly exclusive global travel network of luxury advisors and suppliers, including hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and more) and an affiliate of The Simple Sol, a SmartFlyer team based in Dallas.

Do you get “better deals”?

My goal is to provide value-add opportunities for clients with the top suppliers in the world. I work with incredible partners across the industry who not only provide top notch service and amenities, but take excellent care of my clients while they are traveling. Additionally, working with these partners allows me to provide VIP amenities, including daily breakfast, an upgrade, a hotel credit and early check-in/late check-out*. Therefore, it is my goal as your travel consultant to provide the absolute best value. *These amenities vary depending on the hotel and are subject to change and availability, depending on the partner.

When you say you work with “partners”, what does that mean?

Partner suppliers are those with which I have the best working relationship and trust full well to take care of my clients. It is in the best interest of my clients to book with these suppliers to provide the greatest value and overall best experience. Preferred amenities are provided to clients traveling with a partner supplier.

What does it cost me and how do you get paid?

The cost to you is dependent on the type of trip we are designing. If you just need hotels (and airport transportation, as applicable), there is no fee. For travel that involves additional transportation, tours, activities, reservations, etc., I charge $100 per day of travel for up to 4 guests, $25 per person per day of travel for any additional guests*. I receive a commission from partner suppliers once clients have completed their stay, activity, transportation, etc. *This fee is subject to change prior to agreement to working together. It is up to my sole discretion to increase, discount or waive the fee at any time.
